BabyMeld
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Globid Inc. (“Globid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, processes, and shares information when you use BabyMeld, including our Android application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Process
Photos and Images
The core function of BabyMeld allows you to provide two photographs of people in order to generate a hypothetical AI-created child portrait. The photographs you select may contain facial images and other visual information.
For the Android application:
- photos are selected from your device;
- the app may resize or compress them before transmission;
- the photos are transmitted over an encrypted connection to our backend;
- our backend sends them to an AI service provider for generation;
- we do not intentionally store the original parent photos in our own persistent server-side database or object storage;
- the generated result is returned to your device.
Generated images may be stored locally on your device until you delete them, clear the app's data, or uninstall the application.
If a web-based image-generation feature is made available, substantially the same processing may apply to photos uploaded through the website.
Usage and Analytics Information
We may collect information about how the application is used, such as:
- app launches;
- onboarding completion;
- screens or features used;
- generation success or failure;
- subscription-related events;
- ad-related events;
- app version;
- device and operating-system information;
- general performance and diagnostic information.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand product usage and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and technical problems.
We do not intentionally send uploaded photographs, generated image data, image files, image URLs, or facial-image content to Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.
Advertising Information
The free version of the Android application may display advertisements through Google AdMob.
Google and its advertising partners may process device, advertising, interaction, consent, and related information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable law.
Where required, we may request advertising or privacy consent before requesting certain ads. Premium users may receive an ad-free experience as described in the application.
Purchase Information
Subscriptions in the Android application are processed through Google Play Billing. We may receive information necessary to determine the status of a purchase or subscription, such as:
- product purchased;
- purchase status;
- subscription status;
- purchase token or transaction identifier.
We do not receive or store your full credit-card or bank-account details. Payment information is handled by Google Play.
Communications
If you contact us for support, we may process the information you provide, such as:
- your email address;
- your message;
- device or app information you voluntarily provide;
- information necessary to respond to your request.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide AI image-generation functionality;
- process uploaded photos;
- return generated images;
- maintain free and premium functionality;
- verify or restore purchases;
- display advertising where applicable;
- analyze product usage;
- diagnose errors and crashes;
- prevent abuse and protect the Service;
- provide customer support;
- comply with legal obligations;
- improve the Service.
We do not sell uploaded photographs or generated images. We do not use uploaded photographs for advertising profiling.
3. AI Processing
To create an AI-generated child portrait, the Service sends the photographs you provide, along with generation instructions, to third-party AI infrastructure providers.
Our current AI providers may include OpenAI and other AI model or infrastructure providers used as primary, fallback, or testing providers.
These providers process the information on our behalf or as independent service providers according to their applicable terms, privacy policies, security practices, and data-retention rules.
Our own application backend is designed so that original parent photographs are processed transiently for the generation request and are not intentionally written to our own persistent server-side photo storage.
However, third-party AI and infrastructure providers may temporarily process or retain information as necessary to provide their services or comply with their own legal obligations.
Do not upload photographs if you do not have the right or authorization to use them.
4. Service Providers
Vercel
Used to host our website and backend infrastructure.
AI Providers
Used to process photographs and create AI-generated images. Providers may include OpenAI and other AI-generation infrastructure providers.
Google Firebase
Firebase Analytics may be used for application analytics. Firebase Crashlytics may be used for crash reporting and diagnostics.
Google AdMob
Used to display advertisements in the free version of the Android application.
Google Play
Used to distribute the Android application and process subscriptions and other purchases.
These third parties process information according to their respective terms and privacy policies.
5. Data Retention
We attempt to limit retention to what is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which information is processed.
Parent Photos
Our backend is designed not to maintain a permanent server-side copy of parent photos after the generation workflow. Temporary processing may occur while a request is being completed. Third-party AI and infrastructure providers may apply their own retention periods.
Generated Images
Generated images may be stored locally on your Android device. You can delete locally stored images from your device.
Analytics and Diagnostics
Analytics, advertising, purchase, and crash information may be retained by the applicable service provider according to its own retention settings and policies.
Support Requests
Support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we may process personal information based on:
- performance of a contract with you;
- your consent;
- our legitimate interests in operating, securing, analyzing, and improving the Service;
- compliance with legal obligations.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent where applicable.
7. Advertising and Consent Choices
The free version of the application may contain advertising. Depending on your location, you may be presented with privacy or advertising choices before certain advertising technologies are used.
You may also have device-level controls relating to advertising identifiers, personalized advertising, and privacy.
Removing consent does not necessarily remove all advertising. Where permitted, contextual or other limited forms of advertising may still be displayed.
8. International Processing
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, appropriate safeguards may be used for international transfers of personal information.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal information, including rights to:
- request access;
- request correction;
- request deletion;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent;
- request a portable copy of certain information;
- lodge a complaint with a privacy regulator.
Because BabyMeld does not currently require an account and much of the application data is stored locally on your device, we may not always be able to associate server-side technical data with a particular person.
You can delete locally stored application data using your Android device settings or by uninstalling the application.
For privacy requests, contact us at: office@globidinc.com.
10. Children
BabyMeld is not directed to children under 13 years of age, or a higher minimum age where required by local law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information improperly, contact us so we can review the request.
11. Facial Images
The Service processes photographs that may contain human faces solely for the purpose of producing the AI-generated result requested by the user.
We do not use uploaded facial images to:
- identify a person's real-world identity;
- authenticate users;
- build a facial-recognition database;
- track people;
- sell biometric profiles;
- target advertising based on facial characteristics.
BabyMeld is an entertainment service and does not perform genetic testing or scientific biometric prediction.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through the Service. These measures may include encrypted network transmission, restricted server credentials, and separation of server-side AI credentials from the Android application.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
13. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and their privacy policies govern their services.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we may update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required.
Continued use of the Service after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective is subject to applicable law.
